After months of waiting, Insomniac Games has officially confirmed when fans will finally get another proper look at Marvel’s Wolverine.

It sounds like Sony is making Wolverine the centerpiece of its entire summer showcase.

New Wolverine Gameplay Will Be Shown on June 2

According to the announcement, the next State of Play presentation will take place on June 2, featuring over an hour of trailers, reveals, and upcoming PlayStation announcements.

The show will reportedly open with a brand-new deep dive into Wolverine itself.

That includes:

• A closer look at the world
• Additional information about the project overall

And yes — the game is still officially targeting its September 15, 2026 release date exclusively for PS5.
