Embracer Group has provided a clearer idea of when players can expect Darksiders 4 and the next Kingdom Come game, with both titles currently targeting the company’s 2027/2028 fiscal year.
The next Kingdom Come was recently officially announced by Warhorse Studios, while a discovered trademark has fueled speculation surrounding its potential title. Now, Embracer’s latest financial report has given us the first indication of when the game could actually arrive.
Darksiders 4 and Kingdom Come Target FY 2027/2028
The information comes from Embracer Group’s Q1 interim report for FY 2026/2027, which includes an updated publishing and development schedule for the company’s announced games.
According to the report, Darksiders 4 is currently scheduled for FY 2027/2028, with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC listed as its platforms.
The next Kingdom Come game is targeting the same fiscal year, although Embracer hasn’t listed its platforms yet.
For context, Embracer’s FY 2027/2028 would run from April 2027 through March 2028, giving both games a fairly broad potential launch window.
It’s particularly interesting for Kingdom Come fans following the enormous success of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Warhorse Studios has already confirmed that another installment is coming, although very little has officially been revealed about the project so far.
A recently discovered trademark for Kingdom Come: Salvation has led to speculation that this could be the title of the next game, though that has not yet been officially confirmed.

Embracer’s schedule also includes Deus Ex Remastered and Thief: The Dark Project Remastered, although neither project currently has a confirmed release window.
The dates remain subject to change, particularly with Darksiders 4 and the next Kingdom Come still relatively far away, but the report at least gives fans a better idea of when both games are expected to arrive.
