Just days before launch, Forza Horizon 6 has reportedly suffered a massive leak after an unencrypted build of the game was allegedly uploaded to Steam by mistake.

According to reports spreading across social media and leak-focused communities, the uploaded files contained roughly 155 GB of game content, allowing users to access thousands of assets and potentially even run the game ahead of release.

The situation quickly gained traction online after users on forums like CrackWatch claimed the full build could be downloaded from third-party sources. Screenshots and short gameplay clips also began appearing online shortly afterward, with some users allegedly showcasing early gameplay from the leaked version.

Uploaded Without Encryption?

The biggest talking point surrounding the leak is that the build reportedly lacked proper Steam encryption protection, something normally used to prevent players from accessing preload files before launch day.

While details remain unclear, the leak appears to have happened roughly 10 days before release, making it one of the biggest accidental pre-launch exposures in recent memory.

Interestingly, this is not the first major game to reportedly leak this way. Earlier this year, Death Stranding 2 allegedly experienced a similar issue when over 100 GB of files were uploaded without the appropriate protections shortly before launch.

Playground Games Yet to Respond

So far, Playground Games has not officially commented on the reports or confirmed the authenticity of the leaked files.

Despite the controversy, excitement surrounding Forza Horizon 6 remains extremely high. The game is currently scheduled to launch globally on May 19, with fans eagerly waiting to explore the franchise’s newest open-world racing playground.
