Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for August 2026, and it’s shaping up to be a particularly strong month for Extra and Premium subscribers.
A total of eight games are joining the main Game Catalog, headlined by Helldivers 2 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, while Premium members are also getting two additions to the Classics Catalog.
Helldivers 2 is available through PlayStation Plus immediately, while most of the remaining games will arrive on August 18, 2026.
Helldivers 2 Comes to PlayStation Plus
The biggest surprise of the month is undoubtedly Helldivers 2, which is joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog globally today.
Arrowhead Game Studios’ hugely successful co-op shooter arrives alongside the new Devoid of Liberty update, giving PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers a perfect opportunity to jump into the Galactic War.
It’s joined by another major release in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, which becomes available on PS5 from August 18.
Warhorse Studios’ massive medieval RPG offers a considerably different experience from Helldivers 2, making the two games strong headliners for an otherwise varied August lineup.
PlayStation Plus Game Catalog August 2026 Games
Eight games are being added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog this month:
- Helldivers 2 | PS5 – Available now globally
- Kingdom Come: Deliverance II | PS5 – August 18
- Vampire Survivors | PS5, PS4 – August 18
- Hell is Us | PS5 – August 18; August 25 in the US, UK, and Japan
- Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash | PS4 – August 18; August 25 in the US, UK, and Japan
- Two Point Museum | PS5 – August 18; August 25 in the US, UK, and Japan
- Metro Exodus | PS5, PS4 – August 18; August 25 in the US, UK, and Japan
- Dying Light 2 | PS5, PS4 – August 18; August 25 in the US, UK, and Japan
Beyond the two headliners, there’s plenty of variety.
Vampire Survivors offers its famously addictive roguelike survival gameplay, while Metro Exodus provides a much darker story-driven FPS experience across post-apocalyptic Russia.
Players looking for another large open-world game can jump into Dying Light 2, while Two Point Museum offers something completely different with its management simulation gameplay.
Hell is Us also joins the lineup, bringing its dark action-adventure experience to PS5 subscribers.
Two Classics Join PlayStation Plus Premium
PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers aren’t being left out, as Sony is also adding two older titles to the Classics Catalog.
The August additions are:
- Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams | PS5, PS4
- Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire | PS5, PS4
Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams originally launched for PlayStation 2 in 2006 and serves as another welcome addition for fans revisiting Capcom’s action series.
Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire, meanwhile, brings another classic PlayStation-era title to modern consoles.
