Microsoft‘s limited-edition Xbox Series X25 will reportedly launch on November 27, 2026, with the transparent green console carrying a hefty €899 price tag.
The special console was announced earlier this year as part of Xbox’s 25th anniversary celebrations, bringing back the company’s iconic translucent green aesthetic in a modern Xbox Series X design.
Microsoft hasn’t officially announced the console’s release date or retail price yet, but a new report may have revealed both ahead of time.
And if the information is accurate, this won’t be a cheap anniversary celebration.
Xbox Series X25 Reportedly Costs €899
According to a new report from Dealabs, the Xbox Series X25 will be priced at €899 in Europe and is currently scheduled for release on November 27, 2026.
Dealabs reportedly uncovered the information by examining backend retailer data ahead of Microsoft’s official announcement.
Interestingly, November 27 is also Black Friday 2026, making it a somewhat unusual launch date for a premium limited-edition console costing considerably more than a standard Xbox Series X.
A US price hasn’t been confirmed by the report, although it’s suggested that the console could potentially retail for around $899.
UK pricing also remains unknown.
With the information apparently beginning to appear within retailer systems, an official announcement regarding pricing and availability could arrive soon.
Gamescom would certainly provide Microsoft with an obvious opportunity to reveal more information about the console.

Xbox Series X25 Celebrates 25 Years of Xbox
Microsoft officially unveiled the Xbox Series X25 during the Xbox Showcase in June.
The console was created specifically to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Xbox and takes heavy inspiration from the brand’s original visual identity.
Rather than the traditional black exterior of the Series X, the X25 features a translucent OG Xbox green shell, allowing owners to see some of the hardware inside the system.
Microsoft’s description of the console reads:
“Return to XBOX in modern form. Introducing the limited edition XBOX Series X25 in translucent OG Green with 1TB SSD storage.”
The console also features an illuminated green Xbox ‘X’ logo, further leaning into the original Xbox aesthetic.
Underneath that transparent exterior, the system comes equipped with 1TB of SSD storage.
The Xbox Series X25 already generated plenty of attention following its reveal, particularly after Xbox executives Matt Booty and Asha Sharma announced that everyone attending the Xbox Showcase would receive one of the consoles for free.
For everyone else, however, getting hold of one could apparently be considerably more expensive.
At €899, the Series X25 would clearly be positioned as a premium collector’s item rather than an affordable alternative to Microsoft’s existing Xbox hardware.
Its limited-edition status and nostalgic transparent design could still make it highly desirable among longtime Xbox fans, particularly with 2026 marking a major anniversary for the brand.
For now, though, the €899 price and November 27 release date remain unofficial until Microsoft formally confirms them.
