Sony has officially announced the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for July 2026, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 headlining this month’s lineup for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers.
Joining Activision’s blockbuster shooter are For The King 2 and the critically acclaimed action RPG CrossCode, giving subscribers three games to claim throughout July.

PlayStation Plus Monthly Games – July 2026
PlayStation Plus Essential members can claim the following titles between July 7 and August 3, 2026:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – Cross-Gen Bundle (PS5 / PS4)
- For The King 2 (PS5 / PS4)
- CrossCode (PS5 / PS4)
Players have until July 6 to redeem the June 2026 PlayStation Plus Monthly Games before they’re replaced.

Modern Warfare 3 Headlines the Month
The biggest addition is undoubtedly Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, which includes the Cross-Gen Bundle for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
The package features:
- A cinematic single-player campaign
- Modernized versions of classic multiplayer maps
- The open-world Zombies experience
- Full cross-generation support
It’s one of the highest-profile PlayStation Plus additions in recent months.
For The King 2 Brings Cooperative Strategy
For The King 2 combines tabletop-inspired RPG mechanics with turn-based strategy and cooperative gameplay.
Players can team up with up to four friends as they journey across the kingdom of Fahrul to overthrow a tyrannical queen and restore peace to the realm.
The sequel expands on the original with larger maps, deeper progression systems, and new classes.
CrossCode Delivers a Modern Retro RPG
Rounding out July’s lineup is CrossCode, an award-winning action RPG inspired by classic 16-bit adventures.
The game features:
- Fast-paced combat
- Physics-based puzzles
- Extensive character progression
- Pixel-art visuals
- A sci-fi narrative set inside a fictional MMORPG
CrossCode has earned praise for blending nostalgic presentation with modern gameplay mechanics.

All three games will be available to download for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers from July 7 through August 3, 2026.
